She’s a typical 27-year-old woman, except when she goes to work, she straps into F/A-18F Super Hornet. Meagan Varley realized her childhood dream of becoming a naval fighter pilot, flying the F-14 Tomcat in wartime deployment to Iraq. As a 2002 US Naval Academy Aerospace Engineering graduate, Varley reported to flight school at NAS Pensacola for Aviation Preflight Indoctrination, and then studied VT-3 at NAS Whiting Field.
